The Baikal Dog-sledding center is the only center of its kind at the Baikal Lake area.

Our 45 sportive dogs have taken part in 12 dog-sledding races and international competitions, 6 of which they became winners and got the 1st place. In 2005, the head of the center, Oleg Tyuryumin, went on an expedition all alone across Baikal by a dog-sled. He covered the distance of 250km over 5 days. He teaches children at a musher school, breeds “ideal” sled dogs and organizes long and short-distance expeditions by a dog-sled. The Baikal Dog-sledding center is the only center in Russia where tourists can ride a sportive dog-sled instead of low-speed Siberian husky dogs. A walk with dogs turns into a real dog-sledding adventure. The maximum speed of a dog-sled is 50 km/h.
